When I felt the call to leave my corporate career and immerse myself fully in service as a spiritual healer, I could never have imagined that anything would interfere with the drive I felt to follow my passion. But life happens.

The events of the last three years, especially, pulled my attention and energy away from the healing work that I loved and required me to dedicate most of my time to my children and my elderly parents. I soon realized that the changes in my life were taking up all the bandwidth I had which meant I was no longer reaching out consistently to my clients or offering healing events. I was, however, very fortunate to still work with clients that continued to seek me out. I know this was a true gift from Spirit because I needed them as much as they needed me. The opportunity to serve always came along when I needed that extra boost of hope and strength that would help keep me going in my daily life.

I also know that having the tools to help me stay grounded and aligned throughout this time kept me from spiraling into anxiety and depression. I learned that I needed to make self-care even more of a priority than ever before. I needed to nourish and mother myself more deeply to hold space for all that was coming up to be healed in me. I feel incredibly blessed to have a spiritual toolkit to reach into every day. As I moved through the experiences of the last few years, I added to my toolkit by seeking guidance from spiritual teachers, healers, and mentors. I found that as we grow and evolve, there is a need to expand our toolkit.  Just as physical tools wear out or need to be replaced, the spiritual tools we have in our toolkits need to be upgraded and modified as we advance and go deeper into healing and transformation.

No matter what you are experiencing currently, please know that you are NOT alone! You have the ability to create and expand your spiritual toolkit too. It doesn’t matter where you are on your spiritual journey. No pre-requisites are needed because Spirit will meet you where you are and take it from there. You just need to be open and willing. And since we are all connected on a spiritual level, when you make it a priority to hold space for your own healing, you also hold space for the healing of humanity.

Much love,
Elizabeth
